Acura, if you launch the TLX with a V6 Turbo engine at around 50 grand (60k MAX with options) and can 0-60 at 4.5 seconds or lower, then you will basically catch the attention of many people who shops around that segment. Also, that competes with the Lexus GS/RC F lines, so that basically is calling Lexus out. If you surprise us with a NEW sports car that costs 70K and can perform better than the BMW 3/4 and C63 vehicles, then… you guys are really back to win it all.

  10. Rick De Michele on September 13, 2020 at 3:44 pm

Very sharp looking suv. I am in line to check it out in person. Atlanta car show coming 03/21/18. I am impressed so far. Glad they dumped the 6 speed transmission and installed a new 10 speed.

  13. ihateshysters on September 13, 2020 at 3:50 pm

I have a feeling the starting and fully loaded price will increase significantly over the current gen RDX.

  14. 四世 Speed on September 13, 2020 at 3:51 pm

    V6 turbo?! Yes PLEASE!

  15. Jason B on September 13, 2020 at 3:54 pm

Would like to personally high-five the marketing department. Love the tunes, tire smoke, and racing influence they keep bringing in!

  17. ldawson103 on September 13, 2020 at 3:55 pm

  20. HW2800 on September 13, 2020 at 3:58 pm

Type S? I will believe it when it is actually in the showroom! LOL!

  21. gallyun1 on September 13, 2020 at 4:01 pm

Turbo V6? Type S is coming back?? is this a dream??

  22. Abe Jacob on September 13, 2020 at 4:01 pm

    This looks absolutely fantastic

  23. brassrox on September 13, 2020 at 4:02 pm

So glad to hear about the A-spec and Type S models. I literally skipped buying the 2.4l TLS because I hated the puny 17" wheels on it…but didn’t want to upgrade all the way to the V6 model.

  24. Mathieu Cossette on September 13, 2020 at 4:08 pm

Hate the grill! Nice side profile!

  25. Mathieu Cossette on September 13, 2020 at 4:09 pm

No CD player… Is a no-no for audiophile!

  26. Snotty Scotty on September 13, 2020 at 4:10 pm

I love how Acura is recapturing its Mojo

  27. BrawlFreak786 on September 13, 2020 at 4:10 pm

Yes finally V6 turbo, type S! It’s a good day

  28. Nicholas Wilhoite on September 13, 2020 at 4:11 pm

They are bringing back the type S and we are getting a V6 turbo!!! Finally!

  29. Racer Lex on September 13, 2020 at 4:12 pm

Hopefully Acura will live up to that "Super car DNA" talk and be an actual luxury performance brand, instead of being another Buick with a few sport accessories.

  30. Commenter on September 13, 2020 at 4:16 pm

Love it. It’s interesting to see (if I’m not mistaken) what Mazda is teaching all makers. Profile of SUVs is apparently mirroring Mazda’s shapes. Interesting

  31. MarcTheStrong on September 13, 2020 at 4:17 pm

ACURA GOT IT RIGHT THIS TIME!!!!!!!!!

  32. Alexander Maliy on September 13, 2020 at 4:18 pm

It is really great, finally, hope that it will also be RDX s-type version and a hybrid version. And please make bigger and more sporty front breaks disks as it is problem with all RDX/MDX generations. I own RDX myself

  33. odle243 on September 13, 2020 at 4:20 pm

Can’t wait to see what they do with the future Type-S models

  34. Dillon Jacob Paskaran on September 13, 2020 at 4:22 pm

    Acura FTW!!!

  35. Nick Larson on September 13, 2020 at 4:22 pm

Awesome direction Acura! In a few years when me and my wife buy a new vehicle its going to be an Acura rdx or mdx. This new rdx is simply amazing! Love it! Super excited for that v6 turbo and typeS too.

  36. Matthew McCreary on September 13, 2020 at 4:24 pm

Acura has done it right this time if I had to get a SUV this is it

  37. The Cool Family NP on September 13, 2020 at 4:24 pm

The question is does this new RDX take regular gas or still premium? Most lexus models now take regular!

  38. Plasmghost on September 13, 2020 at 4:26 pm

I like it so much in general but why isn’t be an electric or has the simplicity of the inside of a Tesla Model S?

  39. Patrick Rowe on September 13, 2020 at 4:26 pm

Why no V6 in the RDX??

  40. Sean McCullough on September 13, 2020 at 4:26 pm

    Acura is back baby!

  41. Acuraman68 on September 13, 2020 at 4:27 pm

    YES!!!!!! A V6 Turbo!!!

  42. sunofegypt7 on September 13, 2020 at 4:27 pm

Please tell me the screen on the mdx will descend below tha dashboard like Audi because if not it will be a target for vandalism in NYC and other urban areas. Plus it gets in the way and is distracting. Also the suspension needs to be tweeted for city dwellers because on my mdx I feel like I’m on a roller coaster feeling every damn pot hole in NYC

  43. Rocco on September 13, 2020 at 4:27 pm

    Pretty, Pretty, Pretty Good

  44. luis cruz on September 13, 2020 at 4:29 pm

    Acura is back love it

  45. blurglide on September 13, 2020 at 4:30 pm

I love it- should have the great handling and thrust of the first gen along with more space and WAY better mpg. Approach/departure/breakover angles actually look not too shabby for a CUV, too, and I like the vertical cargo space- big enough for my bike. And…oh yeah…first great looking Acura in ages; it’s got a little edge to it! Give the CX-9 a run for it’s money in styling, inside and out. This might be my first new-car purchase.

  46. Thank You on September 13, 2020 at 4:31 pm

Acura finally!!! Thank you for listening to the consumers.

  47. jackson mcbeth on September 13, 2020 at 4:32 pm

Is this the luxury cross of the honda pilot or the honda crv?

  48. Kenny JR on September 13, 2020 at 4:33 pm

V6 Turbo and Type S coming back?!! Hallaluyah!!!! Thank you Acura its about damn time!!! U can toss the civic type r motor in the ILX and make it a Type S, theres your first suggestion which you probably already thinking of!

  49. Steven W on September 13, 2020 at 4:35 pm

    But what about RWD?

  50. ThatWasherNerd on September 13, 2020 at 4:36 pm
