TSA aka Theatrical Security Association because that’s all they are is a joke Christ why can’t we actually have a decent traveling experience without stripping our shoes off and being strip searched by a fat sweaty man who couldn’t go through the police academy.

I got screened along with everyone else going into the DM fricking V today. The DMV needs detectors?
All this extra security is about is money, the gov and their contractors want more money.
911, thee biggest attack on any airlines and our nation, could of been prevented with locked cockpit doors. Think about that. Locked doors vs patriot act, dhs, loss of privacy forever, millions dead in illegal war, and on and on.
When I fly I do it privately.

Lol I love the title "advanced" as if it was from the future. Advanced in the sense that it’s new to Americans. Not so much for other countries like Germany that have been using this technology for years already

The TSA: legally violate people, feel them up and steal their things, also force them to buy overpriced airport water, because outside water is super duper Uber dangerous

More invasive technology from the most useless agency of our government.

  20. Moshe B on June 4, 2020 at 10:12 am

Here’s a way to get things moving faster, more efficiently and more secure. Give the problem to the private market, not the government.

I opt out! The government has consistently lied to us, claiming they don’t store body scanners images, but Freedom of Information act proves they are storing images. They also consistently downplay the cancer risk, despite the TSA’s unions demanding dosimeters for their employees. These scanners do not go under the same rigorous testing procedures as medical devices like X-rays. My father never understood my beliefs on the TSA, but I trust God, not the government.

FYI rich people don’t go through these check points. If you have a private plane you don’t have to go through TSA. I wonder who transfers the drugs.

  26. jeanpauljh on June 4, 2020 at 10:15 am

While the chemistry part of the report is interesting, the "Innovation Checkpoint" shows off technologies that have been used at a number of overseas airports for several years now. Not sure why the TSA is so excited to be catching up to 2015…

The TSA is a joke. All they do is grope and steal from people. Its better to fly private. They have never prevented a terrorist act.
