How about solar patio covers that will run a couple of circulating fans and charge LED night lighting …perhaps (dependent on power output) with an aux outlet that could couple with an attic ventilator and/or a whole house ventilator for fresh air in the home during the moderate season.

Martin, excellent video and coverage of the show floor. I’m eager to hear what you learned, and also to watch more tests and demos of show products. Please, show us the goods!

The girls are at 8:09 for a few second!

  4. sim6699 on October 17, 2020 at 5:20 pm

Interesting coverage of the event but too brief for my liking.

  5. Eric Haney on October 17, 2020 at 5:21 pm

Very good job on the coverage of the show. I am very interested in the HT Instruments 50Hz thermal imaging camera, can’t wait for that one!

  6. Bangkok Homes on October 17, 2020 at 5:24 pm

    Very professional presentation.
    Very good stuff Martin

  7. Andrew Joy on October 17, 2020 at 5:27 pm

Hey solar roadways where not there ….. oh wait :D.

  8. Robert Calk Jr. on October 17, 2020 at 5:28 pm

    Thanks Martin.

Just like being there without tired feet at the end of the day.

I wonder why solar shingles have not really come to the market yet as they seem to be a better option for the general public as they have a dual purpose, one being they collect energy and two, they protect the house all with only making one investment. Hopefully they will come to the market soon.

I’m very interested in the solar panel mounting systems you reviewed. Hope you cover ALL the options available for installation. Here in South Florida, The NAZI’s at FPL use what pretty much amounts to EXTORTION when it comes to installing Solar on your Home in South Florida. The HOAX the local government and FPL is trying to pull on the public is atrocious. Your channel educates the public and I love your Product Reviews.

  12. Ecobion Labs on October 17, 2020 at 5:40 pm

Very well presented and informative video.

  13. electrodacus on October 17, 2020 at 5:40 pm

Solar cells are so cheap that they can afford to waste them by mounting them on the back of the panel where I will not expect them to produce more than 10% of what the front ones will do.
I think now the race is to find cheap encapsulation methods. Glass to glass may provide some additional life but they are probably heavier (more expensive shipping) and glass is still quite expensive.

Thank you for review, appreciate it’s a very nice video

  15. Mauro Cicotto on October 17, 2020 at 5:44 pm

    Nice Job Martin !!!! 😉

    Great video

  17. RSP on October 17, 2020 at 5:48 pm

Nice coverage! I’m still waiting for the prices to be more competitive. Here in Brazil the payback time still takes to long.

  18. Lance Guilin on October 17, 2020 at 5:50 pm

hi mjlorton. I clicked thumbs up for this video without your reminder. lol.
I’ll note that I’m more likely to give a thumbs up to videos where the video producer do not constantly remind viewers to give a thumbs up. Of course you’re not the only one to do it. I’ve seen it almost everywhere but I am more likely not to give a thumbs up when I’m constantly bombarded with nagging solicitations of giving a thumbs up. Quality videos that I appreciate will receive a thumbs up without any kind of nagging reminders embedded within said videos.

I been wondering if they have these kind of conventions. Do you have a way of telling me where i can see if any conventions are coming in my location

  20. Michael Hawthorne on October 17, 2020 at 6:00 pm

Nice video Martin, I notice there weren’t anyone defending the ridiculous idea of solar panels on the roadway……

  21. ForViewingOnly on October 17, 2020 at 6:02 pm

Nice one Martin, I’m looking forward to watching the rest of this video tonight after work.
What’s a glass-to-glass solar panel? I did a bit of searching but couldn’t find an explanation.

  22. mags71 on October 17, 2020 at 6:05 pm
