The Jaguar C-X75 should have been Jaguar’s entry in to the hypercar world. Instead it was killed early in its development. There are five prototype C-X75s still doing the rounds, only 40 people have had a go in them and Alex is one of them.

  3. Kalepsis on September 7, 2020 at 3:28 pm

Absolutely love this car; a worthy successor to the XJ220. I really wish they had made more.

  4. Adrian Walter on September 7, 2020 at 3:30 pm

Cant help but think that this car, right now would put some cash back into the companies coffers and indeed save it from some of its current financial struggles…

  5. RGJ 22 on September 7, 2020 at 3:33 pm

Jaguar should put this into production. The smooth curves of the car are timeless! You can see the effect it had on future cars like the F-Type with the large curvaceous rear arches.

They also sold a few of the stunt x-c75s from specter, one of them is at kaaimans international for 1.6 million. They have more barebones interiors but on the outsidr look like the finished car.

Too much for its time , Rubbish ..
Limited run big money Job done .
Lost opportunity for Jaguar to stick to Porsche , Ferrari and the like

I still can t get over the fact that it wasn t produced. It looked the business, and the drivetrain was genius.

  12. James Oversteer on September 7, 2020 at 3:42 pm

I wonder if someone could convince them to sell prototype 5. Wonder how much cash it would take.

Jag has a habit of coming to the party late. Just look at the XJ220 as an example. This would have been great for publicity. Jag also hasn’t done much in the racing sean lately. I hope Jaguar reconsiders, and makes a few hundred of them for wealthy collectors. Thanks.

A Jaguar hypercar killed off by a financial crisis. It’s a modern XJ220

  21. Mitchell Hogg on September 7, 2020 at 3:47 pm

    …what where they thinking?…

  22. philipcliffe on September 7, 2020 at 3:48 pm

This thing could have been announced yesterday and would still be ahead of the competition… Just on looks alone. Just madness. I suspect some dark politics in play.

  23. Salman Haider on September 7, 2020 at 3:49 pm

    Who owns 5 of them?

  24. Muzo on September 7, 2020 at 3:49 pm

  25. Alec G. on September 7, 2020 at 3:49 pm

The story of this car is almost as sad as the Koenigsegg CCGT

  26. Jamar Martin on September 7, 2020 at 3:49 pm

Make this car jaguar. So I can gift myself with one in the near future

  27. Rowina Lucas on September 7, 2020 at 3:49 pm

This car is why I love and hate Jaguar.

  28. Gerry Freeman on September 7, 2020 at 3:51 pm

    Jaguar did this with a 1.6 ‘
Porsche , McLaren and Ferrari ‘
On average needed , 3 × the displacement

  29. Steve Murrell on September 7, 2020 at 3:53 pm

This may sound deluded but this car is the reason businessmen shouldn’t run car companies…..no balls. To things that makes utter sense, they say goodbye to…..or is that TA-TA?

  30. APPLE4YOU on September 7, 2020 at 3:54 pm

Beautiful car too bad it never made to production 🙁

  31. ikarustigger on September 7, 2020 at 3:57 pm

Shame on Jaguar, that they did not manage to build it with the two micro gas turbine generators (MTIG). These are much much MUCH more efficient and have incredibly low emissions. I suspect, the micro gas turbine version was kicked, because with THAT, they would have KILLED the whole piston engine market. WHAT A SHAME !!!!! The gas turbine version would have certainly used below 2 liters of gas or diesel per 100km !!! Believe it not – here is an example of anther concept hyper car with the MTIG concept needing only 0,2 Liter per 100km by the chinese company named Techrules – in an actual race with up to 320kmh it only used 7 liters per 100km at race speeds and performance !!! see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FkHKcxEOL4

  32. Brian Swille on September 7, 2020 at 3:58 pm

2019 and this car would still be epic as is today… this vs Mercedes One vs Aston Martin Valkerie… just sayin

  33. Joey N on September 7, 2020 at 3:59 pm

1:21 bruh the scratches on the car make me so sad lol

  34. Joey N on September 7, 2020 at 4:00 pm

The similarities between this and the f type are insane. Is this the middle man between the XKR and the F type?

  35. Ian dlV on September 7, 2020 at 4:01 pm

It featured in Spectre, the latest Bond film, chasing Bond in his Aston Martin.
It has to be said the Jag behaved much better, handled precisely and looked superb.
Shame Jag lost their nerve before putting it into limited production, probably down to the bean counters.

  36. LaBounti on September 7, 2020 at 4:01 pm

Have no problem pimping it out to racing games at least. Thanks Jaguar.

  37. John Balas on September 7, 2020 at 4:03 pm

it’s a shame because it could have been competing with the P1, 918 and LaFerrari.

  38. Tumbox on September 7, 2020 at 4:03 pm

Please do not hire any of those Execs that had no balls to get this car out. Idiots! I am not even a Jaguar fan but bitching about this.

This car was way ahead of its time, that’s why we never got to see it going round the corners on a famous racetrack. Hope Jaguar comes up with some hypercar in future…..loved it!

  42. conrad testamark on September 7, 2020 at 4:07 pm

Jaguar? When are you going to bring the XJ22O WITH THE V12 ENGINE. YOU COULD OF BRING BACK THE JAGUAR XJ220 and SHOULD BE THE C-X75 FOR THE NEXT 29 MORE YEARS OR SO!

  43. Nightrodboss Eden on September 7, 2020 at 4:07 pm

Jaguars biggest EVER MISTAKE. Not to make this car it’s such a crying shame. Even now it would give everything out there a run for its money.

  44. Thomas Kar on September 7, 2020 at 4:13 pm

shame for all Brits car to be own by tata & mini cooper by Germans

  45. John Lukach on September 7, 2020 at 4:15 pm

Jag and Caddy make ehh cars nowadays. Concepts like this cx75 and Elmiraj are what need to be released to get the prestige and panache back into the brands.

  46. Karos on September 7, 2020 at 4:15 pm

Jaguar can have a 0.5l 1 cylinder engine and make is sound sexy

  47. Salman Haider on September 7, 2020 at 4:17 pm

  48. Martin Ulsano on September 7, 2020 at 4:18 pm

  49. Lee Ryan on September 7, 2020 at 4:18 pm

Should have produced a limited run, regardless

  50. Shadowboost on September 7, 2020 at 4:19 pm

I wish they made it, but how crazy is it that a stock 720S will waste this, now
