2020 Chevy and Cadillac Prototypes Spotted – Camo Wrap – Spy Shots

Driving through Forestville, California, I spotted a fleet of various Chevrolet and Cadillac prototypes wrapped in camo. The trucks are the Silverado, and the cars the upcoming Camaro and Cadillac ct6.

CAR ENTHUSIASTS: Please remember that this video and the still shots were recorded from a cheap dashboard camera, so don’t expect the usual professional photographic quality you’re used to seeing in spy shots.

What’s to bet they’re just current models dresssed up in camouflage just to make people think there’s actually some new models 🤪

I’ve seen camo cars on a few occasions, it’s always very exciting. The new iteration of the CT6 in particular is a car I’m very much looking forward to.

One time Nissan came to a Napa hotel to test some upcoming SUV models, and they took them to Sonoma Raceway, they’d drive the cars back and forth every day. If I lived/worked by Sonoma Raceway, I’d keep a look out.

What? In 2020 cars will still have wheels?

  12. Romtec123 on June 29, 2020 at 12:57 pm

The other cars look like they are Cadilac Ats/Cts ‘

The truck was probably the new Silverado/Sierra. The Cadillac Sedan was definitely the Cadillac CT5 or maybe the CT6. Which has been spied other places too and obviously the coupe is the Camaro. Nice finds!

Every manufacturer is glomming on to those huge grills. Don’t know if I love those.
I’ve seen a car around that has a Hello Kitty wrap. I would do the chrome chameleon ob my car.
    TFS Napa.

I saw mostly 2019 Silverados, and I saw at least a facelifted camaro and a Cadillac. Good shots!

By the way, did you hear about that shooting in Yountville?

  23. elevator1tom on June 29, 2020 at 1:15 pm

They’re nice but it’s sad to see how much automakers are copying each other now instead of building their own unique product, AKA that new silverado has the face-lift of an F150. I hope they have a lot to offer.
I’m also sure that when they are released I bet critics will say it handles horribly because it doesn’t have the performance or cornering ability of a BMW or Audi.

    NOT any more however!

Well, if they don’t want to draw attention to themselves – way to go: Travel in a convoy with all cars wrapped in astounding patterns. LOL

  32. Patrick K on June 29, 2020 at 1:28 pm

I was wondering, but do you know why car companies display their prototypes like that? why do they hide it?

  33. Extreme Seagull on June 29, 2020 at 1:29 pm

holy crap! that must have been quite a surprise to witness. ive never had this happen so idk how many times you’ve run into something like this before. pretty cool tho

  34. Jonathan Bethards on June 29, 2020 at 1:30 pm

Great capture man, where exactly was this??

  35. Bad Drivers of Maricopa County on June 29, 2020 at 1:30 pm

We have the Toyota proving grounds here in the northwest Phoenix area. If you look up Wittman, AZ on Google Earth, you’ll see a huge oval in the desert. It’s Toyota’s 10 mile test track. To the east is Chrysler’s smaller test track. Ford is near the Toyota track.

  36. BurnoutMaster on June 29, 2020 at 1:30 pm

Most of these are definitely Silverados and Camaros. The 2 sedans, however, are Cadillacs. CT6s, from the looks of it. Cool find.

  37. Marshall Loveday on June 29, 2020 at 1:30 pm

The 4-door sedans LOOK like Cadillacs, but since all the other vehicles appear to be Chevys, I’m not entirely sure. All-new 2019 Chevy Silverados 1500 series were just debuted, so I think the trucks you saw were the HD 2500/3500 series.

  38. Douglas Vitrano on June 29, 2020 at 1:31 pm

    Sweet!!

  39. Bad Drivers of North Central Maryland on June 29, 2020 at 1:32 pm

Neat!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen any automaker test new models out this way.
